Meter Runs, Tubes & Skids
We fabricate gas meter runs and meter tubes for orifice meter applications including simplex and senior orifice fittings, properly sized meter tubes with required upstream and downstream lengths, flow straightening vanes, conditioners, differential pressure tap connections, necessary valving and mounting points for transmitters and instrumentation. All meter runs are fabricated, pre-assembled, tested, and ready for field deployment with proper documentation.
LACT Units (Lease Automatic Custody Transfer)
LACT units are the industry standard for automated crude oil custody transfer from production facilities to pipelines, trucks, or storage. A complete LACT unit integrates multiple components into a single automated system: LACT pump for oil transfer, air eliminator to remove entrained gas, BS&W monitor to measure basic sediment and water content, flow meter for volume measurement (typically turbine, PD, or Coriolis), temperature averaging system, automatic sampling system, flow computer for calculations and control, and diverter valve to redirect off-spec oil. We design, fabricate, and install custom LACT units engineered to your specifications, flow rates, and site conditions. Our in-house fabrication capabilities allow us to deliver purpose-built LACT skids that integrate all components, arrive pre-tested, and minimize field installation time.
In-House Fabrication Capabilities
Our fabrication facility is equipped for complete measurement system construction including fabrication and welding, pipe fitting and assembly, coating and painting, and electrical panel assembly and wiring (for LACT Units). We maintain quality control throughout fabrication with certified welders, material traceability, pressure testing, and documentation.
Every fabricated system undergoes comprehensive acceptance testing before shipment including pressure testing to verify integrity, leak detection on all connections, functionality, and complete documentation of test results.
